      Pros

      Pay was at least on par with local market; some schedule flexibility.

      Cons

      No advancement opportunities, poor communication, lack of structure, poor leadership, tyrannical department head, disorganized, the list goes on.

      Pros

      Really smart engineers work here and some of the staff are really great people.

      Cons

      Commercial management is reckless, ruthless, and they do not listen to their staff. If you disagree with the leadership, you will get fired. Pay is not on par with industry averages. They run their staff into the ground while paying them poorly. Morale is awful. Almost everyone in commercial engineering is afraid they will lose their job at any minute.

      Pros

      In my experience: Remote work opportunities with equipment provided. Annual wellness incentive program. Decent health insurance. Some upper management are truly invested in training newcomers and building a healthy team environment.

      Cons

      In my experience: Unprofessional leadership - Behavior from some upper management is unbecoming and irascible. Systemic disorganization - "drinking from the fire hose" idiom is used ad nauseum. Compensation is low when compared to national median salary.
