Before you take my word for it..read the other reviews and ask yourself if you want to work for a company who can only argue with the reviews here not offer explanations or take responsibility. This company will not be in business in 5 years. The current top leader is sexist and manipulative. Only two women in the last 5 years were promoted and both because their male counterparts were doing less work and making significantly more money. And HR was told to make it right or face legal action. BUT...they will promote a man to the executive team .without adding new responsibilities and without a single employee answering to him. Recently fired four CS leads in less than 6 months. Three because they stood up for themselves and offered new ideas and actually understood what Customer Service is about. Their flash in the pan this year is the Customer Experience and everyone had to read a book...but if it will inconvenience the executive team or cost money the customer will always lose. The three main people at the executive level are doing everything they can to run out anyone not hired in the last year. This company was once known for it's long standing 25+ year employees..Most have been run out by the current senior management. This place has serious OSHA issues. Potential sexual discrimination as well as harrassment claims will bury this company soon. This company hires people under false pretenses. Then attempts to pit coworkers against each other. It is the definition of toxic environment.

This is a toxic environment. Meetings full of F-bombs, vulgar references to add "color" to conversations, and generally lacks professionalism in most internal situations. The senior leadership of the company will be the reason that the company is bought out or closed. Not sure if that is the ultimate goal, but in either case, with declining year-over-year sales, and perspectives that are condescending and vulgar, it may be that they want to try to get everyone to leave the company, and then close it. The turnover in the shop is high, much of it because the wages paid for staff are not competitive, and the equipment is so old that people resort to filling bottles by hand. Awhile back, there was leadership that worked to put a vision in place, but that person was let go, and beyond that, there has been no focus for improvement other than to measure job times and scold people for not moving fast enough. Turnover in the rest of the company is high because of the environment, and specific people who are empowered to do whatever they want. A few years ago, my perspective changed, and I thought things were going to be getting better--we heard about projects and plans for expansion, and the shop team was getting better at quality and delivering on-time. Since the leadership there changed, it went back to the old ways of doing things. The only bright spot is the Fernley plant--which is growing, but none of that work comes to Merton. Plain and simple for anyone considering a job here--go someplace else. Unless the things I've written above are acceptable working conditions for you. I could not rate anything zero stars, so I gave it a 1. Check out their youtube recruiting video--it is definitely acting. There is a retaliation culture at this company, so I'm sure that when this review is posted, HR will respond with the typical "I can't believe you didn't tell me" and "you're the only one with a problem" response. They will then try to figure out who wrote it and make it difficult for that person. So many good people have left this company one way or another, and it's due to the people running it.
