Pros

Great people and approachable, friendly management team. Nice new and modern offices. Typical startup-perks like team events, free drinks etc. There are some opportunities to travel. Laid-back office culture; flexible in terms of hours and remote working.

Cons

On organization: Internal systems like knowledge sharing, file management, technical workflows etc. have not scaled/improved at the same pace as the company's rapid growth. It's affecting communication. This is improving slowly, but needs to be a bigger priority with better planning. On the work approach: Seems to be a lot of attitude bias towards making 'quick wins' rather making the effort towards well-thought, long-term solutions. This attitude seems to be improving slowly. On culture: Considering our goal of becoming a trusted top-tier enterprise partner we need to refine the balance between making the company feel like a fun place to work AND a place that showcases sophistication and professionalism. On management: They're approachable and open to feedback, but often seem set in their ways. There's some favouritism. They can sometimes be too hands-on or take over decisions that would best left with the experts in the respective teams.

Thank you for this comprehensive and thoughtful review. We absolutely recognize the need to scale our processes to keep up with onboarding new Eventbasers. It is a work in progress and regrettably doesn't always keep up with the success we've had on the hiring front. If you have any recommendations or systems you think we should be considering, please make sure you communicate this to myself or your team lead. Hopefully the investment in Kanban training will assist with some of this and ensure we're all on the same page. If you have specific examples regarding decisions where management has been too hands on and feel comfortable sharing this information, I'd be happy to discuss this further. We are looking for continued improvement as well and very much value your input. Thanks again, - Jeff

Pros

Lots of travel and working with great events. The London office is a small team that work together closely to get things done. Visiting Vancouver is also awesome, such a lovely city.

Cons

The London office can sometimes get left out a little of what Vancouver is doing, mainly due to the time difference.
