Pros

Good money if you work hard & fun environment. Hours are long but you spend a long time doing nothing between appointments.

Cons

Absolutely no life. You work week ends and late in the evenings You are scamming people and pressuring them into buying a very expensive membership. You are not supposed to let them go until they just run away. The manager of the Vancouver office practices sexual harassment and even after telling the CEO he kept his job. The CEO is an absolute greedy scumbag. They are getting sued all over because everything is illegal in their contracts

None. I hated every minute of it. The racism and discrimination is unquestionable.

Cons

Everything. The company is trash and all the good reviews are fake. The turnover of employees in very high because of poor management

Pros

They give a lot of autonomy over events.

Cons

Very low pay, overwork employees and expect event managers to be on call for members 24/7. High turnover in this company.

The Bellevue event manager has been with the company for over a decade, his last assistant only left because her husband took a job in Silicon Valley (she was quite good). The average time on job for Event Managers around the country right now is about 6 years. We pay industry standard pay for Event Managers (adjusted for experience) and offer more stability than most jobs in that category. Also our staff are working with great single adults (no kids or retired people in wheel chairs) and sometimes are hosts for trips to various places around the world (all expenses paid). Trips coming up this year include Cuba, Antarctica, Vietnam, Europe, WWR the Grand Canyon and Machu Picchu. As the owner of the company if I was going to step down and take one job in our company? Event Manager would be that job its a blast to do.
