Don't believe their BS

Pros

On paper, the pros seem plentiful: a great working culture, a team that cares, a positive work/life balance, etc. But it is all lies.

Cons

None of what is 'sold' to you when joining is true: there is incessant dog whistling about current social issues and a large push for DEI and other charitable activities that make the company seem like a great place to work. Sadly, this is all for show - the company does not care about their employees one bit and are happy to work them to the bone for little thanks and with zero empathy or considerations for the wellbeing of their staff. If you are interviewing they will likely use this sales tactic of 'great place to work' to reel you in - do not buy it.

Pros

some nice people who make the environment better WFH

Cons

They pretend being supportive while they let you down from the very beginning. Onboarding phase is ridiculous. Totally understaffed, will require you work extra hours including w-e (with no overtime pay) If you happen in the right BU you will be fine, otherwise you better leave. Which is the right BU? have a look in linkedin how many people are leaving each month.

Pros

Mostly lovely people Nice approach to culture on paper, although lacking in some areas Decent salary Some nice perks, but nothing spectacular

Cons

Total lack of flexibility and client-first mentality - massively behind the times for the industry Senior leadership team leaves a lot to be desired Teams often overstretched and committed to projects with unrealistic timelines, leading to long hours and poor work-life balance (which won't be addressed if you flag it) Occasions where you're left to man a busy account without any team support Blame culture Some incompetent senior staff
