Perfect way to transition into sales

Pros
Hospitality worker afraid you'll still be waiting tables when you're 42? Break the cycle. You're already in sales, why not get normals hours, and a salary + benefits?
Cons
Have to work the same intensity as the dinner rush while sitting down. Trainees need to make at LEAST 120 calls/day at the beginning. Don't know how to talk to people, extrapolate with incomplete information, empathize, or upsell? You might have to stick to hosting.... If you do not perform, you will be given a fair chance to learn, and then given a deadline to make some sales. If you don't, you're out.

Work environment, bagels, happy hours, work location, easy commute, awesome way to get your foot in the door in the sales industry
Cons
Pay, sometimes questionable leads, inconsistient training and messaging, turnover, might not be a great fit for more seasoned advanced salespeople
