    Pros

    Motivated, intelligent employee's working with an entrepreneurial and challenger spirit.

    Cons

    The research team is the best invested area, with other parts of the business needing more investment (which is ongoing)

    - Smart and hardworking people
    - Little bureaucracy/high flexibility, innovation encouraged
    - Real focus on quality research

    Cons

    The work environment and the work/life balance are variable depending on the teams, it can be pretty good or quite bad

    Pros

    - some of the best and smartest analysts out there
    - certainly a hard working culture, but well remunerated if you're doing a good job

    Cons

    - lack of structured training
    - low-touch trading lags bulge bracket peers, but gap appears to be closing

    Pros

    aggressive culture / smart colleagues / very professional / good learning platform and access to knowledge / a typical sales and trading life if you are ever into this sort of thing

    Cons

    lack of communication between french senior managers and local staff (sales, traders, sales traders...)

    Advice to Management

    more integration inter department

    Pros

    Challenging. Work hard and Exane will give you everything you need to progress.
    The working environment is excellent with all employees turned to the same direction: success.
    Management is never too far.

    None (if you love the core of the business 100%)

    Pros

    Very meritocratic - if you deliver you go up the ladder,
    Great work atmosphere as almost everyone is pushing in same direction and want the company to succeed
    Outstanding quality of people on average

    Cons

    IT culture/systems are weak although improving
    Smaller firm - sometime hard to compete against bigger competitors despite product/people on par with best on the street

    Advice to Management

    Carry on - but do not forget branding

    Great company spirit and attractive corporate project

    Cons

    A very meritocratic place to work. So you work a lot and hope to achieve results. If your motivation to succeed in this business is only 99%, look for another place.

    Pros

    It has an entrepreneurial culture where you encouraged to come up with new ways of working or thinking about things. Supported by a dynamic management team.

    Cons

    Perhaps not the biggest payer despite the very strong performance in recent years.

    Advice to Management

    Stay innovative and not conformist. Do not be complacent about rising analysts who could easily be tempted away.
