Pros

In the past Excers had great CA ppm consultants, majority were let go due to "internal issues"

Cons

several members who worked for Excers had to pay out of pocket to attend a 2 week training course on a partner application in California. Several of us declined but a lot of consultants felt they had to attend. Why would a CEO of a company ask employees to pay out of pocket for a partner application training? Because only he would benefit from it! Making his employees spend their hard earned money to support the company is not fair! The CEO of the company should be ashamed by his actions!

Excers Response
9y
Dear former employee, First of all, if you show us any proof that you have paid any fee from your pocket for any training while working at Excers, we will gladly reimburse you 5x to what you have paid. We have already responded to your previous negative reviews with the facts which you have now deleted and wrote a fresh one, once again with completely baseless accusations. For your reference, we are reposting the same response that we have posted to your previous reviews: ********************* We deeply sympathize with you that you lost your job, but respectfully dispute your comments. Here are some of the hard facts that you probably are aware already – Excers grew from one person to 150 plus employees in 6 years with over 100% revenue increase year over year. We also released our own product and constantly looking for new areas of expansion to diversify our practice areas. All this wouldn’t have happened if we didn’t have any direction or thought leadership. We have employees who have been promoted multiple times in the last few years and have experienced significant growth in their career. Please always remember that you are responsible for your own deeds. Failing to produce and not adding value is a burden on any business and no one can afford unproductive and unruly employees. Instead of venting your frustration and writing multiple negative reviews with absolute false information, we strongly encourage you to earn the skill set required to do a good job. Losing job is always tough but not producing at all and expecting to be employed is also bad. We wish you all the best!

Pros

Small company and close relationship with fellow employees not management as they would have you believe

Cons

Management does not support you or care one bit about the employee Examples I can not afford to paid like the big consulting firms however, I will not lay you off like they will when the work is slow. Truth Two weeks after you contract ends you will be cut loose If you work for me you have a job for life. Truth None of his original employees work for him now. I don't know of any who left on good terms. If you request help with a problem management is no where to be found. Fact What ever the problem is it will be your fault and you will be held accountable for the problem The truth is no job is better than a job with Excers

Pros

Small Company with a lot of interaction with the President/CEO. They genuinely care about people and about doing a good job for the clients. Growth potential is improving.

Cons

It is a small company so it may be limiting to an employees growth potential. Travel budgets can get a little sparse.
