Truly ruthless and the culture of. Hire and fire is becoming a fastly normal trend particularly same day immediate job termination without any explanation possibly to save cost. . No loyalty and doesn't look like a firm to go above and beyond for as you are only as good as your previous day. Very long working hours outside agreed contract, can be extremely fast paced and overwhelming environment. Worked for few hedge funds and would boldly say they have a long way to go and not sure I would recommend anyone but if you do, watch your back and importantly, look after yourself first because loyalty seems to be lacking in great deal there.

Reflecting back after having left a few months now, all I can say is wow. The sheer level of ego in some people at this firm is off the charts. Several other key people have also left after me, which was very predictable. As far as I know, there aren't any force-multipliers left at ExodusPoint; they've all left. The firm has also made some "promotions" recently. The promotions have clearly been done on tenure and not much else. It is now the blind leading the blind. Sorry to say, but ExodusPoint is a sinking ship. I met some great people there and I don't regret joining, but ExodusPoint looks like it's going to disappear with the same bang as when it first appeared.
