      Sadly, no longer the company it once was

      Pros

      Some departments still seem ok e.g. finance, and engineering

      Cons

      Where do I begin? Scroll through the reviews over the past year and you get the idea. Was once a great company but after Bain's acquisition the culture quickly became toxic due to the new leadership. Turnover is high even at C-level. Current CEO and his CPO buddy must go.

      A burning fire, fuelled by delusional management.

      Pros

      The technology is the best in the NDR space - but only for a specific type of requirement. If you need big-scale and deep analysis of lateral network traffic, and you have network taps in place, ExtraHop is a solid choice.

      Cons

      There is almost no channel in EMEA. Leadership blames bag-carrying salespeople for lack of performance and never seems to address the root causes of the woeful numbers. There is an ineffective and underfunded marketing effort in EMEA. EVERYTHING is geared around the US. ExtraHop brand awareness is almost non-existent in EMEA. The NDR competition is at least 2 years ahead of EHOP in EMEA. NDR as a concept and technology has not been taken to heart by most Enterprises. Net new logo deals happen maybe once a year. Extremely long and complex sales cycle that is actually, only ever thought of by most customers as a belt and braces, "nice to have" technology. VAST amount of churn. I have rarely had a week or month go passed without someone getting canned. 80% of the EMEA sales team has left the business in the last 4 months. If you get a deal in EMEA, someone in the US will probably end up taking some of the credit. Lots of EMEA companies are still run from the US.

      Dissapointment

      Pros

      Salary I would say, but not worth your time or effort.

      Cons

      No prospecting tools to start with. They can't even provide Sales Navigator for their employees—you'll end up paying for it yourself and expensing it. Same situation for the following; No Outreach. No Lusha. No marketing support. No management support Onboarding process is average. "The list goes on; however, I’ve already wasted enough of my time." "Please feel free to verify everything I have mentioned above."
