The leadership team is a boys club that doesn't care about the employees who actually do the work. They talk a good game about caring about the employees and "doing the right thing" but don't actually do what is right. Just ask the 20% of employees who were just let go right before the pandemic hit, not due to the economy, but due to bad management decisions and a constant "head in the sand" attitude about problems.
The CEO and COO are best friends outside of work, so while the COO does practically nothing but listen to baseball games and podcasts in his office all day, he continues to get more promotions and power and is never held accountable for his actions. The two of them are very dishonest and manipulate every situation based on who is in the room. They take no responsibility for anything and blame anything that goes wrong on everyone else.
Even though they constantly preach an open culture where everyone's opinions and ideas matter, they only want the opinions and ideas that match their own. Anyone that doesn't want to fall in line will eventually be shut out.
The CEO's motto is "I don't care who you are. Everyone's Replaceable."
One member of the leadership team is a complete narcissist who abuses the employees who work for him. He publically berated and screamed at a project manager in front of half of the staff, which was never addressed and just swept under the rug. Even though another lower-level employee was fired a few months earlier for the same offense. While neither was right in doing that, some people are just untouchable no matter what crime they commit.
