AVI has a flat organizational structure making it easy to move sideways but almost impossible to move up or be promoted from within. $6000 healthcare deductible is a essentially a pay decrease. It was most disheartening when not long after AVI purchased Dascom Group another employee told me he was rejected for asking for a $.50 hourly raise because the company "doesn't have the money."

The company had just implemented a company wide CRM system that is very slow. I averaged 200 mouse clicks per day with an average wait time of 10 seconds per click. They are stretched thin across the board and most projects required outsourcing installation technicians, which required supervision. The internal cost estimates for each project are seriously understated as they assume resources are available and they are not.
