Pros

None at all. Money making machine for senior executives by sacrificing work-life balance of employee's.

Cons

Low salary, Extra odd hours working, Office politics used by Managers to provoke employees to get things done, very high irrational expectations. No training and career progression plans, very money conscious managers, ask employees to lie to customers. Dissatified and grumbling customers due to unprofessional trade practices of Management and high charges. A sinking ship.

Pros

Wide variety of projects & industries to gain experience. Most consultants are very knowledgeable and happy to help.

Cons

Lack of leadership & future planning. Toxic managerial styles - intimidation, scapegoating. All focus is on billable hours - work life balance is talked about but never practiced. Customer satisfaction is not a priority, as is evident from offshoring to very poorly trained contractors.

Pros

good salary, supportive working partner, funny people. we almost consider ourselves as a small family

Cons

no future, management doesn't care about their employee, they only see employee as a block of resources, nothing more. they expect the impossible : full utilization, fully effective and wide variant of expertise, no backup consultant, only hiring when they're hit the wall. and they wonder why they have bad projects everywhere. blaming is the great coping mechanism on management. they don't have a plan to remedy things, cutting things is their only strategy. seems like they want to destroy the company they just recently acquire, it's so absurd to the level of unintelligent. so unintelligent, it makes you think "shooting yourself in the foot" is management grand agenda, a nihilistic middle finger to the absurdities of this meaningless life.
