Great place to work if...

Pros

amazon benefits are the only pro

Cons

If you want to feel unimportant and unappreciated for your hard work this is the place to go. If you want to feel like you don't get any support or resources to do your job this is the work environment for you. If you enjoy working under catty, hostile, or incompetent managers, you'll be quite happy here! If you don't care about your career development or skill set growth this might just be the perfect place for you. If you want to have your work environment defined by mediocrity, if you like working with outdated or poorly built technology, if you like constant changing requirements, and shady work tracking practices you will be right at home here. Heed the warnings in the other reviews.... they are accurate.

Unhappy place with unhappy people

Pros

-Competitive pay -Amazon stock -Best in class Amazon benefits (very generous healthcare, family leave etc)

Cons

Things may have changed, but these are the cons I saw day to day: -Horrible office space with major cleanliness issues (dirty dishes in employee sink for days, lack of windows/sunlight in office spaces, ants/bugs, carpet under your desk looks like it is never vacuumed) -The best talent moves on while toxic employees remain -Have seen brilliant people leave for greener pastures or forced out by poor management. Those who leave or are forced out move on to shining careers elsewhere, which just an example of how a poor culture pushes out the best people, while retains those who just "need a job" or are in it for the money, or have just been around for too long to want to leave. -Excessive amounts of internal politics and lack of collaborative team spirit -Lack of positive organizational culture

Hostile Working Environment

Pros

Compensation and benefits are competitive for the industry, but are not enough to make it worth staying.

Cons

The environment is very hostile. There is no room for upward advancement as positions are typically filled from outside the company. Management can be demeaning and is not concerned with team building or the best interests of their employees.
