Pros

Free cashmere sweaters for uniform

Cons

Upper management is the absolute worst !!! They have no respect for their employees and speaks to them like they are less than human. HR does absolutely NOTHING about it! They just pretend to. They find pleasure in embarrassing and humiliating their employees in front of everyone and blame their rude behaviors on it being the “Italian way” I have seen great leaders and hardworking employees leave or be fired while protecting the ones that actually make the company a nightmare to work for. There is zero room for growth unless you’re Italian or related to one of them. They cheat their employees out of their money and tell them to “get over it because some else will do your job for cheaper” I have witnessed someone being physically assaulted and that manager was rewarded with a promotion to HR because she’s Italian. They work very hard to protect their own. Any job posting for higher positions are fake, they would rather fly their friends out to the US pay their rent and give them the position rather than hire someone actually skilled for the job. They have no idea how to run a business and instead of self reflecting, they blame their failures on their employees and further mentally abuse and tourment them. The turnover rate sucks because anyone with a functioning brain wouldn’t stay there.

Pros

Very relaxed, easy going and fun work environment if the manager isn’t working.

Cons

I was hired and didn’t get the agreed upon amount I’d be paid. That was a the first red flag. Next up is the manager of one of the stores. Absolutely the rudest manager that I have ever had the displeasure of working for. Barely has any patience, always cuts people off when talking and even fights with her associates when clients are obviously present in the store. Never listens to reason and swears she’s right and everyone else is wrong. This manager does not have a welcoming spirit when on duty and our best days were always when she *WAS NOT* working. Morale, atmosphere, overall attitude of the staff was much nicer and more welcoming, open and fun. Complete opposite when she’s on the clock and staring down our backs. Terrible at dealing with issues, will have an issue with one staff member, then go and talk to another associate and complain about it and this associate has nothing to do with the situation. Micromanaging at its worst. Complains about time and attendance of her staff but is last more than 80% of the time, but of course, corporate and HR won’t do anything about it because they coddle this one. Corporate should have never hired this one as a manager. Absolutely unfit to run a store. They seriously need to reevaluate.

Pros

Free Cashmere for Uniform but limited in American sizes

Cons

I was hired as a Senior Manager for a location that already had a manager and was not told I was coming to take over store until I showed up on payroll. Not okay. This location had no staff and upper management did not have a calendar to plan for business initiatives. With only two people in store, we were berated to sell, do inventory changes for over 3,000 products, plan events and work consistently to fill in the schedule holes. I was looking to hire but most of the candidates did not have "the Look" or "did not look clean". They judge you on if you have tattoos, piercings, how your teeth look, etc. I was there 3 months and they still would not hire a full team. I was mocked continuously by upper management. They do not prioritize what's important. Money is always MORE IMPORTANT. I was called aggressive for stating the obvious. I was also yelled at in the most unprofessional way but it was deemed as the Italian way. Im sad for all the employees that work there because they feel stuck and are vigorously applying places but the job market is not so great and upper management sees this as an opportunity berate them because they know they cannot leave. I was highly disgusted by how they talk to and treat the team. HR needs to replace the leads for US with professionals who understand what proper work practices are.
