Supportive team but declining morale and trust issues
Pros
I find it hard to recommend working here. The immediate team was supportive and lovely to work with. There are some genuine people doing very good work at the base levels. Remote work is nice when you want to avoid personalities in the office environment. Unfortunately, the positives don't outweigh the mounting negatives. It's a place where you'll want to get in, get your experience, and get out quickly before you're brushed aside for something or someone else new & shiny. Don't plan for a lengthy career.
Cons
What was once a great company to work for is fast spiralling downwards. Teams are becoming fractured as the company tries to incompetently fast-track AI and actively offshore important duties. Morale is hitting a low point as constant redundancies remind staff they're simply an expendable resource. Loyalty, hard work, or length of service do nothing to shield you from being cut loose. Highly polished and curated messaging to the staff that carefully steers the conversation makes it appear senior leadership are trying to maintain a facade they rigidly control for staff to see. This does not engender a lot of trust as to their real motivations and intentions for the future, especially when focus or direction change suddenly for no apparent reason. Advancement feels capped and difficult to break through the glass ceiling. Family connections seem more important than skill or competency. The overall staff experience is becoming more difficult and making it impossible to thrive.
