Pros

Generally nice people. Laid back atmosphere.

Cons

Two things. I recently left there as my job was eliminated. I now know of four women (friends) that were sexually assaulted/harassed - which means there must be way more. 3 have quit (2 of which got no support from HR at all - which is why they both quit). The assaulter in 2 of the cases still works there and has harassed others too (he also routinely uses the N word in meetings). Texts and audio recordings were provided but HR barely care. So ladies plz be aware/warned that there is limited support for you in any case of harassment. Secondly, I recently met with a senior executive at Sungard. He could not stop laughing once he learned how many ppl Flexential hired. particularly in sales. To quote "wow you got all the rejects". Speaks volumes. I actually enjoyed working there ( I was never assaulted), it's a shame it has degraded to such an extent.

Pros

My peers I worked with on a daily basis were awesome. I couldn't ask for a better team because we all worked well and communicated well.

Cons

Flexential is the product of different 2 mergers first that of INetU whom I worked for starting in 2012 and ViaWest, then ViaWest (whom purchased INetU in late 2015) combined with Peak 10 to form Flexential. The INetU and ViaWest merger may of happened on paper but never materialized in the Support department or product portfolio. Essentially INetU operated as an independent 'department' of the larger company. There was some change but very little. Then came along Peak 10 who purchased ViaWest and now there's a forced march to combine 3 companies and we're doing it the Peak 10 way or no way. We used to have nice perks, company provided lunches on Wednesday either a buffet or take-out (you had an allowance), That's gone. We used to have bagels on Friday mornings. That's gone. We used to have a quarterly meeting with business updates, rewards & recognition and happy hour. That's gone. Benefits were great had a good PPO through UMR. That's gone and replaced with an HSA and High-Deductible plan with a premium that's nearly double if you have a family. Management won't listen to feedback and if you do give them constructive feedback expect to be given the cold shoulder.

The customer-centric company...

Pros

that seems to have forgotten about the customer. I was planning on writing a long, negative review but it just doesn't matter. Management will never listen to criticism, and it's become apparent that the employees are just expendable resources.

Cons

They increased the 401k contribution to 4% if you contribute 6%. The health care costs have skyrocketed by thousands of dollars, so it in no way covers the small percentage increase to the 401k. Yes, you have unlimited PTO. Be prepared to receive calls from your managers while off to do work because 'you can always take more days off!'. There used to be a good company culture from ViaWest and INetU. Those cultures are dead, and they were killed by Peak10. Managers are seemingly elevated based upon who their friends are, and not based upon any merit whatsoever. The failing up rate is astounding. I wouldn't stay at this company if they offered me all of the money in the world. It is beyond toxic.
