Pros
I've worked at Floify for around two years, and have found it a very rewarding experience. One thing that consistently impresses me about Floify is the ownership you're encouraged to take over your own projects.
The typical structure of a feature at Floify includes both a backend and frontend developer working to implement something together. You're encouraged to plan out your own feature, find your own solutions, and work out any issues that crop up.
Basically, it's cool getting to use the technology YOU want to use, as long as you can make the case that it's the best solution for your project.
Other than that, everyone at the company is great, and easy to talk to. It's mostly work from home, which can be a pro/con depending on you. Floify does a good job of encouraging you to chat with your coworkers throughout the day, and we have frequent video calls to discuss things.
Cons
Floify still seems to sometimes operate on a 'start up' kind of pace, which means I've experienced a bit of whiplash at times when priorities change quickly. In general, there seems to be a push toward getting a bit more organized to prevent that from happening so much.
