Pros

Folio3 offers great opportunities to work on different technologies. Senior management is so friendly and there are soo many extra activities like picnics, tours and sports events. Worklife balance is also great except sometimes.

Cons

Most of the project managers are former QAs. They need some managers who have a background in software engineering. There is somehow a trend of favoritism. if you have a negative image for any reason then its very hard to improve this. so they need to be fair in every manner. Payscale is also very poor. They target even little things in your increment reviews and ratings.

Pros

- In 2021, the organization was known for its excellent benefits and positive work environment. However, it has since become a challenging place to work, primarily due to its resistance to change and growth. Leadership, consisting of long-standing directors, continues to manage both engineering and internal politics in a traditional and outdated manner. - If you excel in navigating office politics, appeasing division directors, showcasing superficial success, and emphasizing progress over substance, this might be the perfect environment for you.

Cons

- Since the new Folio3 building, the company has revealed its greedy corporate side, hypocrisy of top leadership is now exposed clearly, showing "employee forever" quotes were just empty promises. - They forced about 30-50 employees, many with over five years of service, to accept half salaries or resign due to the company's lack of profitability. - Instead of the CEO or top leadership taking responsibility for profit losses, they passed the burden onto employees and their families, refusing to accept or learn from their mistakes, prioritizing their pride above all else. - On the same day they effectively laid off 50 employees, they boasted about their profitability and future growth, showing a lack of dignity and integrity. - They demonstrated no remorse for their actions against employees who dedicated a significant portion of their lives to the company. - Divisions are rife with politics and favoritism, with strong bias being the norm. - Customer satisfaction and quality of work are secondary priorities at Folio3; the main focus is on pleasing top leadership. HR acts as nothing more than a puppet for division heads. - Growth opportunities depend not on your work but on how well you can flatter top leaders and agree with their decisions, no matter how flawed. - There is little to no focus on employee growth or learning. The company makes no effort to improve its processes and is among the most outdated and stagnant organizations. - Unfair treatment and inequality among employees are widespread. There are significant differences in benefits, with some employees enjoying full perks while others receive none. - Certain toxic individuals favored by division heads are untouchable within their respective divisions, perpetuating a toxic work environment.
