Pros

I sat and thought about this for a minute and I really couldn't come up with anything, except to say that my peers (those specifically at, or below, my pay grade) were all competent and kind. Really, those people are the saving grace of this company.

Cons

If you want to work at the poster child for all things gone wrong at a start up -- this is the place for you. Know nothing about your markets from a top down view? Totally! Lack of diversity? Check! People using Sales Force who have no idea what it's for, or how to best use it? Yup! Those people teaching other people how to misuse Sales Force? Lots of that! Women in power? Nope! Culture? Eeeeehhhhhh....do you consider a weekly meeting where you are forced to do yoga and act excited about your job (as you are passively-aggressively shunned if your market is not doing well), culture? Then, yes! Structure? Nope! Support? Absolutely not! Transparency? Who needs it?! Reasonable health insurance, where your pap smear is covered, if you're a woman over the age of 25? Not here! Unreasonable pay for a totally out of whack work/life balance? Absolutely! Shifting expectations, standards, and protocol? On a second-by-second basis! Updates on those shifts presented in long, disorganized meetings where you watch other people think their immediate thoughts out loud for 45 minutes? You got it! Internet in your work space? Never when you need it.

Foodee did not set you up for success in that city. And there wasn't enough rigor or mgmt presence there. And you're absolutely right that our transition to Salesforce last year was painful, both from an integration and training standpoint. We hope to never go through a CRM migration again! Expectations shift, work/life balance is out of whack and sometimes the structure and support are not there. But we are looking for folks that can handle that: a high degree of ambiguity; self-starters that work well autonomously. Your comments around diversity and gender equality cannot stand. At our Q2 Town Hall we spoke at length about diversity and gender at Foodee. Our company is 30% female, which is the industry average for B2B enterprise SAAS companies. Further, we established the Women of Foodee speaker series led by 1 of the 2 women on our 5 person leadership team. This is a very tough medium. Anonymous feedback is good because it's raw, but at times it can come across as vindictive. The timing of this with the other negative reviews in the same timespan is worrisome, not for it's content, but for the coordinated intent. This review sounds like the reasons you quit. Only you didn't quit. If a reader chooses not join our scrappy, respectful company because of what you've written here, you've hurt the one positive thing you yourself state as a Pro: 'the competent and kind people' that make up our company. Our next email will be to our US health care provider to ensure that pap smears are covered. That was very valuable to hear. Thank you.
