Pros

Good location in Greenway plaza, close to many nice restaurants for lunch or HH. You appreciate any work environment after this no matter how bad it may seem, because this place truly had every negative thing you can have about a company.

Cons

First off I am sad that I have to put at least 1 star for Senior Management and the Culture & Values ratings here. Notice how in the careers section of their website theres always a job posting for "Legal Assistant?" Its cause the turnover among Legal Assistants is so high (whether its cause they quit with no notice or cause they got fired due to insecure managers) they're constantly looking for new poor college grads to lure in. Many employees were rude and never bothered to say hi to you. The few ones that are nice unfortunately are all walled off in the towering cubicles, making it feel like you're in prison, cut off from society. The work environment was not caring at all, despite posting it as "Caring and Passionate Work Culture" in their own careers section of their website. Maybe more of the senior legal assistants AKA "Mean Girls" caring for their own drama and passionate about gossiping legal assistants. Training was non existent, despite assuring me during the interview that AMPLE training will be provided because immigration law is complex, and the law from where I came from many of the knowledge and skills weren't transferable. The non-compete agreement that you sign prior to employment is their way of making sure rival firms dont get a competitive edge in having a talented employee working for them. After one week on the job they expected me to know everything and if I couldn't, that I should look for past examples somewhere? When asked questions about specific processes like filing cases many senior legal assistants will make me seem incompetent and disorganized to the attorneys, and rather than help, they would just delay the work until the deadline is near, creating high levels of stress and anxiety that comes when deadlines need to be met. Foster has been losing clients to other immigration firms due to the lack of professionalism displayed by attorneys, and the work being subpar because of the high turnover among legal assistants.
