Bad Leadership, No Company Culture, HR completely ineffective.

Pros

A good team that is engaged at times, there area few smart people in every department who are approachable.

Cons

Bad leadership - The management in the company has been poorly selected by the CEO and is completely unaware of the basics of managing a team. There is a common culture in the company of passing the ball of responsibility, nobody wants to take ownership of projects. The company goes on a Redundancy spree in Oct 2022 with the excuse of a bad economy and lack of business, but then announces internal promotions in Dec 2022. Can you trust an organisation like this ? The only people who survive in the Company are Yes MEN. Anyone with an opinion or something useful to say is usually silenced. The most dysfunctional departments are Onboarding and Production, this is only due to inexperienced leadership. Don't even think of approaching HR, they only work 2 times a week and all issues are pushed under the rug since they are afraid to speak up to the CEO. Notice the trend of reviews here that are blank on the Cons - These are reviews that employees are made to write on the platform.

No Growth, Training or Alignment

Pros

People are nice and some are helpful. Insurance is pretty good and standard.

Cons

There is no real training or coaching here. They do not invest in the employees that they have and just overload with work that they are expected to know from the start. I saw partners working insanely long hours. Time zone differences can be difficult to manage and not respected as well. I don't believe everyone knows what their roles are because things are constantly changing and processes are not explained or taught. You can definitely know by your first week who is who and who is the favorite, and who is a nepotism hire. PTO - Is ok. Could be better especially with the time and energy you put in. There is really no employee engagement going on.

Pros

A welcoming and friendly environment to work in, in a company willing to listen to employee's ideas Plenty of chances to grow yourself within a business that rewards it's staff and recognises talent

Cons

Lack of parking in older office space (which is sorted now with the office move) Cannot think of any other negatives!
