BPO-style software engineering company became kind of toxic specially with management. A certain person who was an engineering head was especially toxic during that point, not even pushing for better engineering but pushing for better sales instead. He pushed us to "infiltrate" the client team and push the client to hire more from fullscale as the top priority and delivering quality as second. No place for up skilling or being promoted as they always hire externally for vacant internal positions.
