Pros

Headquarters in Pulaski is a nice, new, and well maintained facility. However, the location is non-ideal. Vast majority of employees make the daily hike from nearby cities like Syracuse, Watertown, and Oswego. Atmosphere is not as corporate as witnessed elsewhere. Dress code is lax and cubicle setup abandoned. Paid to attend annual summer & Christmas events. There is initiative to bring themselves to the 21st century.

Cons

It is not terrible here, it's just below average. There is no good reason to work here when you could work anywhere else. Compensation is below average market value for the field, benefits are average, annual raises are minuscule - more so an adjustment for inflation rather than an actual salary increase. Daily work mostly consists of repetitive paper pushing utilizing archaic softwares and processes. No genuine efforts are invested toward professional skill development. Management and lifers tend toward the familiar and remain stuck with what is known. Culture is rather pessimistic when it comes to change/innovation. Senior personnel are often condescending/oblivious and value personality over substance. If you are good at what you do, they will use you. If you are mediocre but likeable, you are given much more slack. Don't be surprised to hear rumors about yourself through the grapevines. Fulton's leadership, along with the unwillingness to invest in both their workforce and technology leaves them strongly lagging behind their strategic vision. If you are an elite talent with strong ambitions, this is not the place for you. If you are so-so and don't mind monotonous work just to collect a paycheck, you have found your match.
