A real disappointment

Pros

There are some very caring and kind people, and the product does offer real value.

Cons

The pace at which the company moves is unsustainable. Their focus on speed at all costs results in a degraded customer experience while employees face unreasonable expectations and burnout. Leadership is unreceptive to feedback about the pace and instead prefers to blame individual contributors for not measuring up to the task.

Pros

Not enough to overlook the cons.

Cons

Any high rated review you'll see for Fuzzy is either fake or it was asked to be written because they're having trouble hiring people. Pay rate is a joke! Not not only do they not pay you enough, they don't pay you on time and it's usually the incorrect amount. They make promises of bonuses and promotions and have no follow through. Some teams work tons of hours into overtime and get no recognition or compensation. These are NOT your typical start up growing pains. They pretend that they're transparent, but it's really just an excuse to act however they want and get away with bad behavior. They throw each other under the bus when they don't get their way, and there's no constructive criticism, just negative reinforcement. Not to mention inappropriate flirting. Constantly. It's a terrible working environment. Don't be fooled by their cute puppies and kittens and the promise to help animals in need. There are other companies in the same industry doing so much more. tl;dr: Don't work at Fuzzy, it's awful.

Pros

The mission of making vet care affordable is powerful and some people really believe in it.

Cons

A lot of leadership uncertainty, not sure who really is the CEO making decisions and why decisions are made, because everything changes. A lot of pressure on numbers and no attention is paid to the experience of employees. There is no sense of teamwork or happiness because everyone is scared of losing their job and there is no software to actually do the job.
