Strong business model, but struggles with outdated management

Pros

- The business model is bulletproof. I don’t see any scenario where the company doesn't succeed and scale aggressively this year. - Compensation and career growth are top-tier. Speaking from experience, I’ve been promoted and given a raise every year of my 3-year tenure.

Cons

- The recent layoffs unfortunately missed a lot of useless tenured employees. Getting a response out of them is difficult, and when they do reply, the advice is usually meaningless. - Their only real asset used to be historical company knowledge, but now that our internal tools are unblocked and accessible, anyone can find that information themselves. They aren't bringing anything unique to the table anymore.

Strong Employees, Weak Leadership

Pros

The company is filled with talented, hardworking people, and I was fortunate to build meaningful relationships and connections during my time here. The benefits and perks are competitive and appreciated.

Cons

Leadership lacks a unified vision, which often creates confusion and inconsistency throughout the organization. Rather than focusing on developing employees and addressing systemic challenges, there can be a tendency to place blame on individuals, particularly newer team members. The company culture has also significantly declined, which is especially noticeable in a fully remote environment where intentional culture-building is critical. Additionally, the company has moved aggressively toward AI adoption and workforce replacement without sufficient consideration of long-term impacts, change management, or appropriate guardrails.
