Pros

There is absolutely nothing good about this company.

Cons

As previous reviews stated, it is normal for new hires to wait multiple pay cycles before receiving their first paycheck. HR could not possibly care less, as I was repeatedly told someone was looking into it (for over a month.) When I brought up my multiple pay issues, I was retaliated against, and terminated. My manager had a quarterly review with me, after I started at the company and had nothing but good things to say. After bringing up the pay issues, she created a second review, stopped giving me work, and slandered my image to the company in front of the directors and lied about my performance in order to terminate my position. On top of pay being delayed, the company does allow PTO, sick time and bereavement, but they will “suggest” you work during it, and if you don’t they will state that other team members had to pick up your slack, which will also be included in performance reviews. Zero work life balance. There is zero training, I went from an admin with one week of training, to fully supporting the tax department with zero prior knowledge, licensure, or tax specific training. Be prepared to wear multiple hats, and receive negative feedback if you do not meet their expectations that are ever-changing. Those under 30 should not apply. You will be told you’re not capable of completing thee duties you were hired to do. There is no support for new hires, you sink or you swim. The organization is so poorly organized that there is nowhere you can go to find policies or procedures so everyone does everything differently and consistently has to backtrack on deadlines because no one knows what’s going on. I have been in contact with HR for over two weeks and so any claims made in the reply are as legitimate as their claims that they care for their employees.

Pros

Diversity & Colleagues Nice People

Cons

Very bad pay - Pay is extremely low for expected workload. (They say it is competitive but pay certain staff members minimum wage) Employee Turnover is high - nobody wants to work for a low wage and high stress Management favouritism - if you don’t work on big clients you will not get recognised Unrealistic expectations Managers have shouted at junior members of staff Have decided to be like other firms rather than be unique and competitive. More concerned about social committee than ensuring employees are happy. Indoctrinating American culture to uk work environment which will not work. Reduced benefits offered previously in order to save costs and benefit shareholders.

Pros

The people you work with are the best part, and that is a luck of the draw depending on team/office. That’s it.

Cons

Dysfunctional from top to bottom. Negative and denigrating attitudes from senior management - there is no humanity, compassion or forward thinking. Processes are created in a whim with no timeline to implement them properly. Morale is low which is why numerous people have left with nothing lined up. Very hypocritical and a massive blame culture. Managers never want to accept responsibility for their bad decisions/choices.
