Pros

For those who survive the baptism by fire, it is a decent starter block for entry level lawyers to have on their CV. Not being fired/running crying from the building within six months shows other employers that you have some talent and/or fortitude.

Cons

The company culture is so vitriolic that protective eyewear and clothing should be worn at all times. The volcanic temperament of the principal partner has the entire firm on tenterhooks, ready to push their colleague, neighbour or ailing grandmother into the line of fire of his despotic wrath. Training contracts are dangled like carrots but are in fact more stick. The so called 'green' team is ironically named as those imprisoned there have not seen greenery, nor sunlight for many months. HR only exists as executioner. Those who have survived for a number of years are institutionalised, feeling their longevity marks them as special rather than suffering from Stockholm syndrome. These long-termers are often key contributors to the hostile and muck-raking atmosphere. Friday afternoons are a sort of sacrificial ceremony initiated by a phone call from the practice manager. The lamb then marches off to its fate whilst IT slip in and remove their access. This is in fact the best thing that can happen to you at the firm. Liberation.

Pros

hemmmm, let me think, give me five minutes, still nothing, oh I juts give up.... nothing nice to say so let me skip this section

Cons

This place is one of the most hypocritical immigration law firms I've ever come across in that it only pretends to defend human rights. In reality, it's just a scandalous safe haven for oligarchs. The core policy at heart of this firm is divide and rule; literally encouraging staff to turn on each other, gossip and chat nonsense behind each other's backs to win the CEO's approval. No, training, no supervision, no support whatsoever and constant torment in return for high expectations, long hours of work, 24/7 availability and sucking blood transfusion to further the cause of the boss.

Pros

Great location near the Tube station and an opportunity for Russian speakers to use their language skills to the fullest. Apart from that, i do not know any pros.

Cons

Stay away. The company is as unethical as their clients are. They control when you come in and when you get out , if you forget to register when you come in , you will be told off. You will be told off for pretty much everything. Those people have no manners and they do not care about you. The work environment is not safe, the clients are high profile criminals and whatever they do or say , the Boss will never be on your side. He is also good in bullying and harassing people on daily basis. Just in case if you end up in the sister firm Discreet Law , it is the same thing. The two ladies in charge are totally unpleasant and sly individuals, ready to throw you under the bus at any moment. Do not go there. stay away. This company is worth than Siberian prison , no joke.
