Improving Instructional Practice through Intentional Team Work
Pros
I gravitated towards working at Goalbook because of our commitment to ALL STUDENTS. had worked in special education for a decade and often found myself being one of few focused on the needs of special education students. It was an isolating experience, and I found myself looking for a space where the needs of all students were a priority. In my current role as a school success manager, I am responsible for ensuring that the Goalbook implementation is successful at over 150 schools. I most enjoy working with educators and equipping them with Goalbook and the tools they need to successfully support students with disabilities. It is incredible to hear educators say, “Wow, I wish I had this tool earlier in my career.” I have learned a lot about special education priorities across a diverse group of schools and districts. As someone passionate about special education, this has been invaluable as I feel that I truly understand the needs of schools and districts as it pertains to special education equity. Additionally, everyone at Goalbook is smart, dedicated, and passionate about ensuring that all students succeed in our education system. I have never worked somewhere before where I can truly say that everyone is pure in their intent and aligned to a common goal.
Cons
The interview process can be long, but it is WORTH IT!
