Pros

The work/life balance isn't bad, and the hours are slightly flexible. Coworkers were friendly. They will hire just about anybody who can draw breath, and knows a little about design or coding, so if you are desperate to get your first job as a web developer, then working here for a few months might be an acceptable option.

Cons

The heat went out in the middle of winter for a few weeks. The air conditioner went out in the middle of summer for a week or two. The roof leaked. Sinus infections were common. The bathrooms were small and poorly ventilated. Pay was below average. Benefits were below average. If you aren't a member of the Goedeker family, your career growth is capped. Morale is low. The rate of employee turnover is insane -- it is common for people to leave after a few months.

Pros

No Pros at this time, maybe things have changed

Cons

Company still runs in the stone age No-direct deposit when I worked there Had to use a clock to sign in and out - The only company I worked for as an "Adult" that still did that with all their employees. Benefits are bad Customer service for customers was horrible Building that they are in is run down falling apart and was hot in the summer time and freezing in the winter time, where workers had to wear coats, hats and gloves to keep warm. No career advancement opportunities Most of all the "Family" where managers so expecting to move up with in the company was unrealistic. No off day on holidays for employees who worked on the website who didn't need to be there during retail hours. Management was willing to pay for necessary tools to do your job "Not Open" on Sundays was about the only thing they did that made it a "Christian" based company
