    Pros

    You get good discount in the restaurants 50% Experience is good on your CV and recognised by a lot of other employers opening a lot of doors

    Cons

    Intense office and work environment with very bad company culture and low morale. Senior management is very bad, if you are not a favourite you will be overworked and under appreciated Long hours and you are expected to answer and be online at all times even over the weekend No direction or strategy all depends on the mood of the ceo meaning plans constantly change Really not a nice working environment don’t be fooled most people stick for a year to get it on their CV then leave No flexibility don’t believe if they say there is in any interview

    Pros

    experience to add to your CV - go there, work for the minimum time to add it to your CV and leave asap possible as your life will never get better over there chance to open and taste amazing bottles of wine - as a sommelier I got to really touch, open and taste amazing wines first-hand experience of high-end restaurants - although poorly managed, the experience you get there is still very important, maybe just for learning what not to do in your future career; it prepares you for hard working environments. having said that, this does not mean you should accept whatever you get, this behaviour and attitude will resist again in London but increasingly other amazing places where to work are available and will slowly change the standard

    Cons

    poorly paid for the number of hours requested - you save some money only because you do not have time to spend it; I was forced to sign a paper in which I had to declare I had voluntary chosen to work more than 8 hours per day... no social life or time for learning further- usually on your free day you want to sleep a bit longer, clean your place, see a friend, nothing more can be achieved as you are too tired of working long shifts the rest of the week usually disrespectful managers - as they can climb up the ladder a bit they become unpleasant people, even though you always say yes to extra-shifts, contribute to tips quite a lot, always do your job and shut up they will still be aggressive and rude extremely badly managed FoH or BoH - in terms of HR, people working FoH or BoF are never treated nicely, shifts are always messy and constantly changing so that you always have to be available for fear to loose your job poor food available for workers - although advertised as a benefit, your food is never enough as everybody want to get some and never good quality or balanced. People there usually buy their food, or simply do not eat, consuming loads of coffee

    some colleagues may be nice, discounts in all restaurants

    pay horrible staff food miserable management that takes it on employees at any possible chance you feel worthless everyone talks bad about everyone, even managers no trust whatsoever towards anyone again, pay is really bad restaurant food is bad too so you don't have any good chance to eat proper food

    Cons

    The most disorganised hospitality company ever. People at head office don't have an hospitality background and have no idea how to run restaurants. Not recommended.

    Free staff meals (food can be good or bad based on the location) Free uniform (depends on location) Get paid for refering a friend

    Cons

    When it's not busy, many managers will send you home earlier or ask you to not come at work. Employees get paid per hour, so cutting your hours means that at the end of the month you don't have enough money to survive. When it's busy, they often ask you to work extra hours and you will find yourself without free days or without having enough time to sleep and have a decent life.

    The Worst Company Ever - stay away at all costs

    Pros

    There were some really nice people working in the restaurants and support office. 50% food and drink discount is a nice benefit to have and the food is amazing there. When you come to dine with them as an employee the restaurant teams really take care of you, even give some free bubbles on arrival.

    Cons

    There were so many bad negative things about this company I don't even know where to start... 1. The Leadership Team is appalling - there is no leadership, no direction, no long term strategy and no communication. Change is great but when there is a new direction every week it is destructive and confusing. 2. There are no development opportunities, no training, no career paths. You are promoted if the COO likes you. Some people get bonus and reviews - some get nothing even they are part of the same management bonus scheme. There is no transparency or any type of fairness. 3. People work crazy hours - and not only the chefs - everyone, even support office staff... You are even expected to work over weekends. No work-life balance... it's just a modern form of slavery really. You are expected to always be available, always think about work, always answer emails within 5 minutes of receiving them even on the weekends.. I have seen people with serious injuries come into work from a hospital because they were told to do so. 4. There is no room for any mistake and you are always working in fear you are doing something wrong. There is no trust and no respect. They treat people as puppets, as things or objects and some leaders are such big bullies I couldn't believe my own ears - and they get away with it somehow perhaps because everyone is too afraid to say anything. 5. People constantly lose their jobs and disappear with no explanation or a process or communication... I have never seen or heard employees being treated so bad in any company. 6. The morale in the company is so bad people either leave or they get rid of you. The staff turnover is super high so you keep working for nothing - new people always come and go so it is impossible to achieve much in there.

    Pros

    Good experience in 3 star Michelin Restaurant, being part of the best restaurant, looks good in your CV. I cannot write more pros

    Cons

    Long hours- low pay, no trainings, being treated like dogs, hot headed chef/ managers. Lots of unpaid overtime, big turnover, always understaff
