      Pros

50% discount if u eat greggs often

      Cons

If you ever take any review seriously, take this one. do not worka t greggs. For what they’re paying you, the work load is not worth it AT ALLL!! U have to handle the entire shop by yourself while the manager sits at the back. I have worked in a fast paced environment before but this is absolute madness. From serving customers to making orders for just eat, putting baking trays in, cleaning every 30 minutes, making drinks, making sandwiches, it’s only u who would do it. If the pay was more i would have no complaints but the pay is so little, plus if u use tfl to travel, £30 per week already gone so what’s left is not worth at all. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE

      Pros

Easy work, paid for breaks, share save scheme, annual bonus, secure employment with a big company

      Cons

Almost minimum wage with the national minimum wage rising and the pay increase not matching that

Pros and cons of the job

      Pros

Decent pay. Always given breaks (although I suppose this somewhat depends on management). Occasionally get good bonuses. Staff discount. Option to transfer stores if moving.

      Cons

Very busy especially if the store is a busy area, constantly trying to get the queue down. Customers often quite rude and disrespectful. Mornings are stressful are generally busier, breakfast rolls and baguettes also take longer to prepare slowing things down more and generally leading to customers being even more rude and impatient. Quite easy tho burn yourself on hot trays etc. Piercings not allowed.

      Pros

      - Interesting day to day and fantastic learning experience - Staff discount on all products - Flexible working hours for students

      Cons

      - Dependent on the shop you had long commute times or when being asked to cover at another shop - Occasional managerial issues such as never having one consistent shop manager. In our shop we had several temporary shop managers before having a permanant one
