Pros

Joining GAP is joining a family that really cares about you and how you can enjoy your job and life outside it. This really motivates you to giving the best in you and be part of the success of the company. The benefits and work environment are great. I'm really glad I joined the company almost 5 years ago.

Cons

No downsides that I can think of.

Pros

- WFH. Nobody cares if you head to the office or not! - They will raise your salary significantly if you expect to move out another company. That's great if you only the care about money and not career path. Been there twice. - Free cookies! This is really cool. Hard to find at other places.

Cons

Just my thoughts during my last 4 years there: - HR used to talk "bad" of their employees during their lunch time at "fun house" or should I say "old house" (yes fun house is another old house next to the other really really old house where they have their employees working. - If you don't care your back or have any back pain and you're young, go ahead make my day! I had a former coworker that the only way to get a new chair was saying he will leave the company for a "better opportunity". - The only way to have a competitive salary is if you expect to work for a bad salary for a couple of years and then confront HR with a resignation letter. Doing that you will have a $3k+ salary! - I wasn't kidding. You really work on an old house with old assets! but free cookies! - If you want WFH with a laptop computer (mac computer as per se) they said you have to buy your own one unless (as review below) you are part of the "argolla" they won't give you more than an old mac mini with some old and broken assets. - I'm not joking about the installations they work on old houses that they can't even have all their employees the same day without having multiple power outage. - If you live near to their other installations in Belen (next to Prodigious headquarters). They give you the option to work there only if you are a part of the "argolla" (oh man I've never used that word but here is NEAT). They give you the option to work there as a BENEFIT and not as a regular option to choose. - If you don't know something (probably because you never worked before doing that). Relax you can have a meeting with their Technology Director and he can make fun of you! fun fun fun!

Pros

Remote work maybe? But they will leave you at anytime without prior notice. On a call with all the company the CEO said remote workers will stay at the company even If the clients break contract, will they lie to us. Another lie is about the benefits, you get none and they give you 10 days of “vacation” that doestn incluye hollydays, for example, if the year has 20 holidays, you have to choose 10 of these, including your birthday or some vacation you want to have.

Cons

This company is an entire red flag the cons are: - You will never get a raise. - Managers are useless and they will take all the credit for the good things you do and they will blame you if something goes wrong, even If its their fault - Managers cannot deal with simple problems and they will try to “Empower” you so you solve their problems. There was a time my manager cant even discuss with the client and wanted me to change his mind about money and high requirements. - If the company leaves you, they will not pay you your last hours nor your PTOs on the contract. - They are always trying to make you feel bad and will want to work extra hours for the “Gapsters Family”. - They will promise you the sky, but if it is not on the contract, it will be a lie. - Their value “Invest in people” no longer exists, they dont care about people and they will stab on your back if they can. - They will tell that the company is having financial problems so they not give you a raise. They bought 2 companies on 2023 and they lie about their finances. - HR is your enemy here, never tell them how you feel or how was your performance, they will ensure to give you a strike. - The company is always giving LGTB conferences and they force you to match those new “values”, I wonder why all the directors are LGTB. - If you betray all your coworkers and have two faces and always smile here, maybe they will give you the “hearth of gap”. What a shame of price. - There is a lot more of red flags and maybe it is time to talk on social network about it. Silence is their main weapon and they Love to silence people who cant stand abuse.
