Great company to work for - everybody genuinely cares about customers and team members

Pros

A lot of employees have been at Guidebook for a long time, and you can feel that in the culture. Everyone seems to really care about customers and their success, and nobody takes themselves too seriously.

Cons

It's a small company (about 50 employees) and we're trying to do a lot - sometimes that can mean people get stretched at certain times in the year, but the work life balance available does counter that.

- Freedom to control your own work and processes, very little micro managing - Ideas are listened to and taken on board, very often implemented and tested with the mentality of 'best idea wins' - Amazing work life balance, very supportive of wellbeing and mental health - Unlimited vacation days (really is) - Given all the tools needed to succeed, if a new software is needed to improve efficiency, these are often listened to and incorporated to tech stack - Lots of fun games and a great culture despite spanning 3 continents, around 1.5 hours a week of "fun team time" with online games - A lot of opportunity to progress for successful and hard working team members

Cons

- Small organisation, so if you are looking for a big team you won't find it here

Cons

Guidebook is fairly small, so if you're looking for a large organisation with lots of people and opportunity to move around, you won't find that here currently.
