Pros

Legit work at home, make your own schedule. This job is incredibly easy. If you are having trouble doing the work, you have issues.

Cons

Inconsistency with both work load and feedback. Rules are outlined for calls, but nothing else, i.e. attendance. You find out after you break one. Whoever is getting free coffee and paid holidays works in the office. Don't work in the office. Ever. Forced unpaid time off. System issues are frequent, which is understandable, but you don't get paid for them. You are expected to wait around on your own time for them to get fixed and then jump right back in when THEY are ready for you. Could be 5 minutes, could be 2 hours. No one seems genuine.

Our work load does vary due to client needs. The trade-off, of course, is the ability to work at home. Many of our employees find the work to be easy, because they enjoy helping customers, which is what H2insight is all about. We try to smooth out the workload as much as possible. Based on your comment, we’re checking our training program to make sure rules about attendance, etc., are always made clear. Thanks for mentioning this. Even though we use the highest ranked VOIP service provider, sometimes the system goes down—no one is glad about that! We try to minimize those occurrences.

Pros

Focus on connecting with the community, CEO is personable and friendly

Cons

Where to start... Inconsistency--I was constantly being told different things all the time. Training--I was supposed to refer to an assigned, more tenured member of my team, but she worked remotely and would not always be able to answer quickly, which meant I either didn't do anything for several minutes or moved on to the next task and hope she eventually got back to me. When I asked my teammates in office, I got reprimanded (or they did). There are no insurance benefits, and the pay is... not good. Management--while the CEO embodies what I assume Christians mean by "living by Christian values," I didn't see much of that from my direct manager, who was often so inappropriate with me that I would make myself sick thinking about going in to work. Because the office is so small, though, it hardly seems like there's a place to go for those issues, especially when you're an interloper. The environment was also extremely toxic overall. Oh, and there's a Corporate Chaplin. He's a real nice guy, but I actually don't like being torn away from my work once a week to "just chat".

Thanks for your comments. It’s tough to do your job when you have unanswered questions or if you’re made to feel bad about your work. That shouldn’t happen. Of course, there’s some stress in any job. Training and experience can help overcome that. In your future endeavors, remember that your Human Resources representative may be able to help resolve issues. Please speak up when you feel things aren’t going right. We want employees to be empowered and to enjoy their work.

Pros

You get to set you own schedule

Cons

While I was in training we were told that we were going to do survey calls not telemarketing. When calls are low you get switched to doing cold call.
