      This company is full of brilliant people, who at the end of the day are not title-drive, or seeking to constantly climb a hierarchy ladder - but overall want to work hard and perform with excellence

      Hard industry to be in, but do an amazing job at creative problem solving and treating people well

      Pros

      Warm and collegiate culture with truly nice people who happen to be very bright and are driven to excellence. Small enough where everyone is on a first name basis and management has an open-door policy. Technology team is top-notch.

      Cons

      The constant focus on short-term results. Most of the action and best projects happen in the Dallas office so if you are in one of the remote offices, it may feel like you get left out at times.

      Pros

      The pay at HBK is great. Benefits are still fairly good, but diminishing each year. Some of the senior management staff is great and they are highly respected. The pay is great and there are many interesting things to work on.

      Cons

      There is very little trust and communication at HBK. We are all too busy and expected never to make mistakes. Some of the senior management staff has extremely poor management skills.
