Pros
- Endless opportunities to learn - Understanding & friendly staff - Both Electrical & Mechanical fields have extremely knowledgeable managers - Free tea, coffee and biscuits - Incredible software engineers - Becoming more and more self-sufficient with producing products in-house
Cons
- Praise / recognition is rather quiet, it's mostly passed on to the higher up(s) rather than given straight to you. I feel it'd be more beneficial for praise to be given directly to those deserving of it. - The workload can be extremely heavy at times, and rather smooth at other times. There doesn't seem to be a mid-line, but that's just the line of work HGL thrives on.
