Job was advertised as a chance to gain experience and support a more altruistic mission of supporting a veteran's cause. I was responsible for scanning documents and told that it helps veterans get better care from the VA. Maybe it does but workflows are haphazard, management less than interested in the workers, and infighting between company and technology provider a constant. My recommendations for improvement were dismissed and the entire time I was there I felt like I was just a number. Turnover in this company is reported to be some of the highest in the paper scanning business.
