Pros
Coworkers seemed nice and the location is right by public transport.
Cons
Management is disorganized. I interviewed with one person and was told to come in for training a certain day. I come in to find out that that person resigned and that I had to come another day. During the short period I worked there, I was told different ways of doing the same thing by managers (setting up the tables, trash disposal etc). I also have yet to receive my check from training; my request has been bounced around from manager to manager for several weeks. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you actually need a steady stream of income as they are unpredictable. I tried logging on to the restaurant’s scheduling app and it appears I’ve been fired as I cannot log on and the manager I normally text regarding work has not responded. How can a business be professional when they can’t even give an employee a notice and reason as to why they are being fired. I should have been notified from the very beginning that they wanted someone with wider availability. The establishment itself is not even sanitary- it stinks (staff was told that an exterminator came in one night), there is a lot of visible wear and tear. In DC’s hip food climate you will definitely find a spot that will treat you better.
