Pros

Free booze on Fridays (the cheapest wine and beer from Sainsbury's)

Cons

Here are a few of the benefits you can look forward to at Hall and Partners: ° extremely long working hours - you'll be expected to work 10-12 hours almost every day! No compensation for working overtime. ° uneducated and unprofessional management - I have never seen any organization with such pathetic, low class, uncultured, manner-less leads and managers in my entire life! ° dull work - only dull brand trackers, no ad hoc, CX, pricing, brand extension etc. ° employees crying in the office ° you will require a strong antidepressant just to show up and work in this environment on a daily basis I'm still working here, but looking for a new job - like 80% of my colleagues do the same. There must be sufficient and important reasons for so many people leaving the company. Many of the best have already left. Good Luck to anyone thinking about working here. I'm sure you will be posting your negative review shortly.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoy the social environment. We recognise there are key times in the year when additional hours may be required. However, we are also trialing various strategies to ensure a good work life balance for all employees, including new ways of working. We’re sorry to hear you find the work dull at Hall & Partners. We appreciate some work required will be less interesting than other parts. However, over the last 6 months we have outsourced some of the more admin heavy tasks and have been seeing an increase in ad hoc work and transformational ways of working, along with cross working between teams to offer our employees variety in their roles. We’d encourage you to come and talk to the People team or your manager to have a conversation about your role. The business works hard to ensure Hall and Partners is a great place to work. We hold regular peer forums and drop in sessions with our CEO to give employees a platform to give their views. We hold themed social events every month along with the opportunity to take part in yoga and subsided massages in the office. We'd be keen for you to provide further feedback, so please speak to any of the People team or contact us at ukpeopleteam@hallandpartners.com

Pros

Free coffee, tea and sugar

Cons

1. Negative working environment due to so many unhappy employees 2. Very long working hours, you'll look bad if you don't work overtime like most other people 3. Terribly unprofessional management, made up entirely of clueless and childish people who were promoted because they're friends with the higher ups 4. The workforce lacks diversity in terms of class, ethnicity and age 5. High employee turnover 6. HR is a joke! They have no solution to any problem ...list could go on...

Pros

Other employees, fruit, Friday drinks

Cons

Where to start... April is bonus time, and you wouldn't believe it, but the Leadership team have decided to give themselves bonuses and not the rest of the junior staff. It is really quite unbelievable. There's really nothing else to say. Despite being underpaid and overworked, due to not being a great financial year (granted that's an industry wide problem), bonuses for anyone below Research Director level were scrapped. As long as those giving out the bonuses look after themselves though, everything is alright...give yourselves bonuses, because the financial downturn has nothing to do with leadership. Afterall, it's the junior staff going to pitches, trying to win new business, and dealing with business development. We're all in it together!!

We understand why you are disappointed about the bonus this year and agree when you say that we are all in this together. We hope that the recent note from Vanella Jackson has helped clarify the situation, pushed aside any of the confusion, and reassured you that we are committed to finding ways to reward all of our staff. Please do reach out to your Manager or a member of the People Team if you'd like to have a further chat.
