Pros

Hanzo is a company that can and does adapt to the demands of the marketplace. It is capable of and does deliver new software on the latest technology. The management team are thoughtful, tolerant and caring and have a great strategic vision. If you are on top of your game and have a professional attitude it is one of the hottest tickets on the job market right now in legal tech. If you are less experienced and have the right attitude and aptitude, Hanzo is a great place to grow your skills. Hanzo is a remote first organisation which comes which is all "pro" for the self disciplined.

Cons

Hanzo has recently pivoted into a much stronger and more go-getting company. I am sure that some colleagues find this a challenge to adapt to.

Pros

Remote work, so you can work in ya pants!

Cons

Poor management with poor communication and no encouragement, guidance or praise for the staff who do all the heavy lifting and appraisals are a complete shambles and are as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Being remote, I always felt my job wasn’t safe and I was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a roomful of rocking chairs. I had no idea how people felt about the work I was doing as I had no feedback whatsoever, and to contribute to the anxiety I was having, it was clear to me that they found it hard to retain their talented staff, with more leavers than the Brexit campaign. Ideas and concerns always seemed to be ignored, so it was time to move on!

Pros

Decent salary, remote working was managed well and on a good path to improvement. Exciting technologies with a fair bit of space to develop your skills and self manage.

Cons

High pressure environment with not much space for work/life balance - hopefully this is improving.
