Work load can be stressful.

Having both schools in one building was chaos but I have since learned this has changed. Admin mismanages major decisions often leaving teachers unsupported. The faculty has an “in” and “out” group which can make life difficult for those wanting to socialize if they are not accepted by this group of teachers. Over all everyone gets along but there are a few teachers who will undermine you and discredit you. I witnessed three teachers in my time there bullied to the point of leaving. They often went to admin but were met with no support as these teachers were running that school. A lot of the teachers gossip about the students and will not follow IEPs. Teacher turnover is very high. This could have changed from 2017 as I’ve heard they have a new super and admin. If so, then I hope admin helps to address the some of the more pressing behaviors of the faculty.
