Pros

The Company culture is very good as compared to other startups. It provides free food , outings twice in a year ,good welcome kit. It will provide various opportunities to learn and grow within the company. There will be open house setup in every month where awards ,org level events are discussed. People working in the team have positive outlook and good mindset. You would be happy to be part of hashedin by deloitte for starting 1 year and you would be getting good perks too.

Cons

There are very very less projects in the company and there is lot of pressure on each and every candidate to deliver within a short period of time . There is huge politics in the company by the management team and they will setup up a PIP for you(Performance Improvement Plan) when they have decided to layoff employee from the company (but will not inform you so that you can apply for other companies too). You will have to go through vigrous solo hustle when in PIP (4 sprint of work in 6 days).Mostly it would be difficult to deliver such assigment in a short period of time and this is what they want in order to save bonus. They will give you meets below rating and ask you to resign from company before RT cycle so that you are not eligible for bonus and 2 lakhs are saved. I am not sure why it is under best work places because employees feelings,sentiments are never valued. Increment is very less somewhat around 7-8 percent after doing plenty of work(11-12 hrs per day) .No overtime money they will pay and when you say i worked late night yesterday ,they will say we didn't asked you to work late There are lot of cons i can say but yeah politics is the main thing which makes it the best work place . Although it was ranked within 25 but now it at 50th and next time it will be out of 50. (It is happenig due to survey forms filling by favourate people.) Please value your employess ,don't give them unnecessary stress, they too have life outside company. Deloitte acquisation has made hashedin crippled. Also coach never attends the meeting and blindly he will say you have scored less and havn't performed ,So below rating has been marked under your name and he himself will be promoted to next level (this is politics). Anyways i would suggest ,you can join the organisation for sure but make sure to leave it within 2 years of time else you will start hating it.

THey keep hiring freshers to keep the glassdoor review high. Just see all the reviews are from freshers and no experience people give you good rating They torture you in PIP and layoff is real here They have no projects and put you in PIP due to their business issues. Even if you are in project and well skilled you will be put in PIP for 3 months and torture your work life balance. Full capacity in project and double capacity for PIP tasks. this is hilarious. I really am dissapointed working and helping this company grow. I regret staying in this company and am helpless.

Cons

Don't know about others but my experience are as follows: 1. Company works on hire and fire policy so a large part of your CTC is variable 2. unprofessional associate project managers, no understanding of projects 3. if u r good at shouting at others , u can be tech lead here, no other skill sets required. 4. u can't encash ur leaves if u leave or made to leave before 1 year 5. if u r women and manager is asking u to stay late, many times felt unsafe,no cab facility provided 6. one of the their core values is FUN, which u will hardly experience 7. No comp offs provided for work during weekends, managers explicitly mentions don't ask for comp off, I won't approve even if u apply 8. process followed here in projects is pathetic and depressing, u will get frustrated. 9. discrimination with lateral hires 10. dirty politics 11. laid off 35+ employees..... mentioning this so that later they don't come up by saying we came out of covid times with flying colours(Don't trust them as layoffs happened the same day, CEO mailed there will no layoffs in the company. )

Thank you for sharing the review and mentioning a few cons. -- Appraisal happens on both fixed and variable. The fixed component determines the variable component and an increase in fixed component automatically increases the variable component. - The variable component is on and above the fixed component and the total CTC/year approx is 14 months of the salary i.e 12 months of a fixed component and approximately 2 months of salary paid as a variable bonus. And it's not just on papers, we do pay it half-yearly. So it’s not true that a major part of the salary is a variable component. - CEO’s mail was to communicate that we had few involuntary exits as part of performance management. It was needed to ensure transparency which is a key focus of our organization and we strive to be as open and honest with our staff to share important information at the right times. Sorry to say that it is misrepresented in your review. It will be great if you can share your experience of work stress, the behaviour of the manager at hr@hashedin.com so that we can address them.
