Haskoning is I believe the best Large Consulting Engineering firm to work for in the UK. Its partially staff owned and share's its profits with staff. It tries hard to create the right atmosphere in its teams and the pay and benefits are reasonable. Financially the company has done really well over the last couple of years which always helps.

Cons

Its a big company, so there are loads of polices, pointless training to complete, far flung departments in HO making odd decisions. You're going to get that everywhere unless you are the company. At least in Haskoning you can see the CEO, it's a flat structure and you can tell them just what you think (the Dutch like the direct approach).
