Pros

The people are friendly and easy to get along with.

Cons

This company was at the forefront of innovation ruined by greed by management. Poor management practices lead to poor investment decisions which ultimately created a culture of greed from the executive team. HealthEngine showed a lot of early promise by creating products to cater to the market. My only advice is to remove your executive leadership team and replace it with a new one because the ship is slowly sinking. 4 rounds of redundancies over 24 months is not normal for a business of HealthEngines size.

Hi - thanks for the feedback. Pleased to hear the positive feedback about our people, they are a great bunch I agree! I wanted to let you know that our People Team have recently been working more closely with HealthEngine's Executive Leadership Team to understand where and how to make management and leadership improvements. We're at the beginning of the journey but we have made a start and are committed to putting as many learnings into practice. Thanks again for your feedback - Zak, People Operations Team

Pros

Smart and engaged colleagues Trying to create a great culture Inspiring vision really easy to get behind Above average pay and looks good on a resume

Cons

Massive gaps in communication between executive and mid management. Their "agility" means they hire frequently but make lots of redundancies Leaders ask for feedback but ignore areas for improvement Will often promise career progression and then fail to deliver

Pros

Great team, great people.. most of the time. Young and fast paced company with enthusiasm through the roof. Social culture is great. Uses good software for efficiency within the business. Encourages education within the roles you are in.. don’t expect this to be for growth or a promotion.

Cons

ELT make decisions too quickly and don’t think about the long term repercussions or the customer experience overall. Don’t take reports of sexual assault seriously, and didn’t have policies in place to deal with this. Be prepared to leave the company before action is taken or anyone believes you. Don’t have much room for progression once you get to a certain point. Good to be there for a short stay, not a long term role for that reason. Some ELT don’t want to hear your opinion or care even if they say they do. This includes the above.

HealthEngine welcomes and values employee feedback including on Glassdoor. However, on this occasion, there are a number of allegations that HealthEngine denies and wishes to correct if this forum is to be of value to those who access it. It is emphatically denied that HealthEngine’s ELT does not take reports of sexual assault seriously, does not care about employee opinions or that they do not have suitable policies in place to address allegations relating to sexual assault or any other form of sexual misconduct. We understand these are important and topical issues that are both sensitive and triggering for many people. HealthEngine prioritises the safety and wellbeing of its employees in the workplace and takes all allegations of sexual misconduct very seriously. Employee grievances, when they arise, are dealt with fairly and swiftly, in accordance with best-practice policies and procedures, and legislative requirements. HealthEngine prides itself on actively driving a collegiate people-first culture so that it can continue to be an employer of choice. We are always open to receiving feedback and take action accordingly.
