      Pros

      The office looks nice and is always clean. Good healthcare was given to my whole family. That's about it.

      Cons

      If there was a way to rate zero stars, I would. Bad culture, demeaning leadership, no succession plan, family operated with undeserving family promotions, zero work life balance, a lot of backstabbing and high school drama, claim to value innovation but there is no such thing. Very bizarre place to work that leaves majority of employees unhappy and unmotivated. If I didn't leave, my family and personal life would have fallen apart.

      Pros

      For someone young in their career, this can be a good choice, but don't plan on staying. You will have a chance to learn how to help clients and understand asset management. Medical benefits are outstanding but they do not offer long term disability or any benefits welcoming to new mothers. Catered lunch a couple times a week is a nice touch.

      Cons

      This is family run business. Bonuses are minimal and well below industry. Opportunity for advancement is highly limited. You will be expected to be at your desk regardless of how much snow is falling. If you appear to be unsatisfied, you will be scheduled to meet with Jon Hirtle's personal therapist.
