Glorified middle man

Pros

1. Located in Irvine with a parking structure that will keep your car clean 2. There is a bar and a decent burger joint located downstairs

Cons

1. Company pitches the "Full-Service/Hassle Free investment" model but really, they are just a middle man. 2. They don't own the inventory, they're not lenders, they're not contractors, and they're not property managers. So they basically charge a fee to the customer at every step of the way. How profitable can this model really be when sales volume isn't there? 3. Leadership is a joke 4. Revolving door for personnel

Great People, Disappear.

Pros

There are many opportunities for true leaders at the chief/executive level. Although it is a real estate company, the company does not require real estate experience and anyone can succeed, especially if you are good at ping pong. Even the CEO takes time out of his busy routine several times a day to play ping pong with certain associates, which really reflects the true company culture.

Cons

If you can't play ping pong... you are likely to not succeed. Although a lot of money is spent trying to make the organization look like a real player in the SFR industry... it is really a small and insignificant company... Invitation Homes - nearly 50,000 homes, Waypoint - 30,000, Homeunion? less than 300. Small time. A bit perplexing that there are more than 70 people managing 300 homes... what does everyone do?

Pros

Company provides strong compensation and benefits.

Cons

Management and bosses don't earnestly care about growing the employees to be better off than when they started. CEO pushes numbers numbers numbers, but doesn't truly understand the whole process. Somewhat feels like a sweatshop at times, dark, management sits in their offices and people clock in and clock out. Company as a whole has too many meetings, which slows down everything.
