Pros

A great culture, working in a team of driven and talented individuals. Lots of opportunities for cross-functional working and personal growth. A lot of flexibility and autonomy to make your own decisions, no micro-management. Many other perks, from fancy snacks in the office to employee share options.

Cons

A start up environment can be tough and not for everyone. An excellent performance with little room for error is always expected, which can get overwhelming.

Pros

Product had potential + the people

Cons

Ask them why they have an insane turnover rate. They’re firing people especially in Sales regularly. No faith in leadership. The CEO just cares about unachievable numbers. Leadership withhold information

I'm sorry you had a negative experience with us. Our employee turnover (outside Sales) is very low and above benchmark on retention. Although our Sales turnover isn't dissimilar from companies at a similar stage, I do agree that we can do better and this is something we are working on improving. We have big ambitions and are keen to drive a high performance type culture in order to build a substantial business able to unlock value for customers and growth for our team. It's common for companies at our stage to have inconsistencies on the Sales side and see people transition out that might not be the right fit for this specific phase of growth. This is why we're transparent during the hiring process about the challenges and the motivation / ambition required, and I have personally offered help to a number of the team members we parted ways with to secure a new opportunity that might suit them best. I'd have done this for you too, if you'd have welcomed a chat or just asked. In regards to sharing information and how our targets are structured, I'm confident we provide a high degree of transparency, and myself and the leadership team have always been open to being challenged and/or provided full context around our numbers as well as incorporating feedback from the team. Again, I'm sorry for the frustration you're expressing here and even if things didn't work out, I still respect the fact that you contributed in some capacity and trusted us by joining the team.
