Pros

I would not recommend anyone to apply ...

Cons

False promises Minimal support The targets and benefits are never set in stone, making it difficult for you to be given your commission. Passive-aggressive behaviour by senior management in London Not interested in staff wellbeing (even during the pandemic) favouritism has occurred due to senior management developing friendships beyond the workplace - leading to preferential treatment on client allocation and sales numbers.

Pros

Humanscale provide a good training structure, including a trip the US in order to get to grips with the company and their ergonomic principles. The UK sales front-line team are supportive and go out of their way to help you progress. Company events were superb, some of the best in the industry. The initial payment structure worked in the employee's favour with an excellent commission and rewards system.

Cons

Sales targets became quickly unrealistic with new employees meant to 'hit the ground running' and pick up where previous account managers left off. It obviously takes some time to build up a rapport with your clients, which meant many found their targets unachievable. Management did not take this into consideration, creating a level of animosity within the business.
