Pros
If I let off a fire extinguisher in the office management would probably shrug their shoulders. You often get half your lunch hour, too.
Cons
While you are given relative freedom, it is to the point of complete neglect. Staff are asked to compromise their principals every day and bullied into reaching traffic targets. The consequences are stiff if they are not reached. I expect moral is higher among a group of wildebeest surrounded by hungry lions Perhaps the most stunning aspect of working at the IBT/Newsweek is that management haven't toppled out of the ivory tower in which they preside. Even amid the terrible working conditions, their arrogance is the most insulting aspect of working there. Those a step below have almost no influence yet all the pressure. I pity them.
